  • Why is there fiber tape or mesh tape on the inside and outside corners? The way I learned it was flat seams = fiber tape, inside corners = paper tape, outside corners = corner bead. Im not really a drywall or spackle guy but every so often I run into a job where I need to do it.

  • very informative!

  • use a 6 inch knife. the first coat doesn't have to be perfect. A thin second coat will smooth it out.

  • rule one dont use mesh tape for angle or anything for that matter n wrong knife use a 6 "
