DooM battle with 2 Barons of Hell (SEGA Saturn import)

Ahhhh who could forget this level, the 'last level' of episode one on the original DooM. Up til this point you were fighting bottom feeders and simple little monsters. I still remember the first time I saw these two Barons of Hell waaay back in, God... it must have been 1993 when I was ten years old... so anyway the gates of Hell swing open and two loud hell-ish monster cries are unleashed... the two Baron's swiftly walk out and proceed to throw green acid at you... simply brilliant. And as a ten year old kid, it was a very tense scene, especially considering up til now you're fighting bottom feeders.

I remember me and one of my best friends (Mandeep) calling them "the monsters with the goat legs" haha.

The JP Saturn version holds up well and recreates the feelings of awe nicely. I love the Baron of Hell, he's my favorite DooM baddie, by far. I remember in DooM II in that one level 'Tricks and Traps' (cheap shameless plug coming, check the videos of the level 'TaT' I have up, there are two of 'em!) there was one room with one CyberDemon and like a dozen BOH's. I used to enable the 'God Mode Code' (classic IDDQD, IDKFA was the all keys and weapons/ammo code!) and just stand back and see if my boys could take out that crazy beast. I think ole CyberBoy took down damn near all of them, but two or three always remained standing and finally they would finish off CyberBoy. Ok, with a couple pistol shots of help from me, of course... and the occasional chainsaw act. ;) Good times.
