GLIMPSE OF BUDDHISM - DHAMMA COURSE BY Uncle Vijaya, Next on Wed, 19th March, 2008

Buddhist Institute Sunday Dhamma School (BISDS) is organising a series of Dhamma talks or a Dhamma course by Uncle Vijaya. He is one of the famous Dhamma speaker in the temple. Those who have listen to his talk before will know that his talk is very insteresting, inspiring and not boring. Those have not listen to his talk before should take this opportunity to listen to the Dhamma. All the courses are in English and FREE.

Below is his Biodata:
Mr Vijaya Samarawickrama (also well known as Uncle Vijaya) is a very inspiring and respected Buddhist teacher that has inspired many through the lens of Buddhism by his noble action in expounding the Dhamma. He graduated as a specialist in the Teaching of English as a Second Language from the Malayan Teachers' Training College in Liverpool, England and later on a B.A.(Hons) in English and Linguistics from the University of Malaya and an M.A. (Drama and Theater).

He is not only a dedicated teacher but a talented writer that has assisted the Late Chief Venerable, Ven K Sri Dhammananda with his numerous publications. He travels around the world to share the gift of Dhamma by delivering talks and organising workshops and seminars in schools, colleges, universities and Buddhist organisations.

All Dhamma classes are on Wednesday night, 8.00 to 9.30 pm at Wisma Sri Dhamma, Buddhist Maha Vihara at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.
