Hail Storm in Sandy Springs Ga. 3/15/08

The hail broke the bird feeder. The bottom is hanging off and it cracked the heavy plastic tube.
This occurred the day after a tornado hit Atlanta. Lots of severe weather on this day.

Impressive video. At least the damage wasn't any more severe and hopefully no one in your area was injured. I live over in Marietta and we had dime to quarter sized hail at our location. I shot and posted video from inside my loft as it pounds against the windows.

I live in Sandy Springs just off Hammond Drive, and we hardly got a drop of rain here, let alone hail.  Strange...

Over at temple city LA, CA we had hail as well but they were only about 3mm.
