  • Hi, Quick question what set up do you use to video tape your procedures. I am a periodontist in Beverly Hills and want to record some procedures for educating my referrals.

    Thanks

  • @Drmilesmadison I have a global microscope with a beam splitter attached to a sony camcorder and record on DV tapes that I get in bulk online. You can get all kinds of new cameras now that have cards for recording but I like the tapes because each case has it's own tape and then I don't have a card with a bunch of stuff mixed up together. The YouTube videos are great educational shorts for referrals. I send them links all the time. call me 510 547-1300

  • @Drmilesmadison you can't do this kind of surgery if you are not a dentist, so YES I am a dentist.

  • Excellent job. Aestethically, impressive improvement. It'd be nice to see the evolution further in time, like a couple of years after surgery. And it'd be good to know what is the cost of this kind of surgery.

  • @21753117 this surgery cost our patient around $2500. I have not seen the patient back for years so I would assume that things are stable.

  • I must say this is really disgusting and now I even hate more dentists but you did a really greate job I mean, looks way better than before.. anyway, next month Im going to get my "Wisdom teeth" not sure if they are called like that off and Im going to get a full Anesthesia, does it hurt? after they took them of does it stil hurts for long time? thx and nice vid!

  • @maxendenia if they let you premed with Aleve x 2 and stay on it every 6-8hrs. If not, as well consider Traumeel pills. Plan on lots of swelling (normal) and stay hydrated.
