  • Goodness, you have been through it! Our news is often full of stories of 'grow houses' that burn - seems they totally overload the electrical with lights, timers, misters, heaters, cooling systems and so on. I'm so glad it didn't spread to anyone else's and that no one was injured. Oh, they often leave dogs to scare off intruders and make it look like a home if narcotic agents come round. They drop by to feed the dogs and check the systems every few days.

  • @thizizliz As everyone has been saying, if it HAD been a grow house, the air would have been fragrant! It was quite a tragedy, but no one was hurt. - roc

  • Wow, that is scary having a fire so close and right there in your neighborhood. I glad you and Pat were safe.

  • @ABQdoubleG It was scary Gigi, and I am anxious to know the cause! Our condos are about 11 years old and I'd be stressed if it was wiring! - roc

  • FIRE!!! I had to say it! They are scary though. Good to see ya and looking forward to more!

  • @Jinxie228 Scary!!! - roc

  • @popparoc46 Oh of course! I'd forgotten. How silly to have forgotten. Yes indeed. Its a very good thing no one was injured and no one else lost their homes. Hopefully the owners of this one were properly insured. What an exciting night!

  • @KarmicBook Yikes! That is a coincidence! Fire is just so scary. I can only imagine how fast grains and feeds would burn! - roc

  • @Suezeeknits Sue, fires are terrifying!

BTW, you can't fool me. You walk! -roc

  • @DeeNeenee Yes, Dee, I'm glad no one was hurt as well. Scary stuff. - roc

  • @MrsRedAng I wish I had an update on the status of the owners! They have to have been around - the place has been full of insurance people, the fire department, the police, crisis clean-up crews, and media. - roc
