@niksoft111 Wow you sure are paranoid. Didn't you learn in school that humans have immune systems too? The reason why you see so many cases of bacterial infections that causes death is because of people like you that basically kill their own immune system. Washing and disinfecting everything, including your own body, ends up making more bad than good. Maybe you should turn your TV off once in a while.

@niksoft111 I think I will take my "incorrect " chances handling eggs! For the life of me I can't see that this has any more importance than the color of asphalt! Please give us all a break with the over-cautiousness.
People die from choking on food too-I guess we should remind all to chew their food in an "approved" way.

You probably won't find it on iTunes. All of the music in my videos is FREE to download and use as you wish at freemusicarchivedotcom! Just do a search for the title.

And yet it doesn't stop 40,000 cases of salmonellosis with about 400 deaths reported each year in the US. (CDC.org)
People should always be reminded to wash their hands thoroughly before and after handling eggs and yes you should remind to sanitize, not just wash/clean any surfaces that came into contact with the eggs.
Hack back: it is better to lay the egg carton/box on its side in the fridge if possible, it keeps the yolk in the center of the egg, better protecting it.
Trick to cracking an egg with (I actually ran a lab experiment on this), is to crack the egg on a flat surface, this way there is a lot less chance of an edge dislodging the shell from the outer membrane and ending in your food.
Also salmonella is found in 1 in 10-20k eggs, however it is more often found on the outside of the egg, thus, please handle eggs in a more responsible way than what you see in the video, and sanitize surfaces after they have been in contact with the uncooked egg.

@niksoft111
Perhaps you could be more specific and point out the places in the video where I'm not being "responsible in the handling of the eggs.

@HackaweekTV
The fork after mixing the egg yolks goes on the table, gets covered with the blender; egg on the counter top, and legs of the mixer; it is a great medium for growing bacteria, so not a good example.
Finger to scoop the egg out, bad enough, quickly rinsing it and continuing to handle food again...
IMHO, you should remind people to thoroughly wash hands when handling eggs and set an example.
I really like the hacks! Have you tried the float test on an egg fresh from the chicken?

@niksoft111
The fork, the blender and the counter top all got washed and did not come into contact with food. I washed my hands in hot water as I had just used it moments before that shot. I have been eating eggs for years and I haven't gotten food poisoning from one yet. People shouldn't have to be reminded to wash their hands as I would hope that at some point they learned this from their parents.
Thanks for watching and yes, the float test has been tried on fresh eggs. They sink. :)
