Targeting those in the armed forces who have experienced a loss of limbs, the C-Leg comes complete with a microprocessor controlled knee that is smart enough to adjust the hydraulic systems according to the current activity being performed. An included remote control enables the owner to switch modes, which includes the all new standing mode that takes away most of the weight off the good leg.

The C-Leg® is now even better. Based on the experience of users and practioners, were proud to introduce advanced features in this proven product. Check out some of the features which the new and improved C-Leg offers:

- Wireless Remote Control allows users to switch easily between modes. Offering even greater mobility and independence. Standing Mode has been added. Regardless of dynamic alignmentthe - Standing Mode stabilizes the C-Leg® at any flexion angle between 7 and 70 degrees. This takes weight off the sound limb. Allowing the user to relax while standing.
- Adapting Swing Phase Dynamics delivers independence to the user. Gives users the ability to slightly adjust swing phase for higher or lower dynamics for different activities. Easily done with the touch of the remote.

Scope of Application:
=================
The new C-Leg® is suited for knee-disarticulation, transfemoral, hip-disarticulation, and hemipelvectomy amputees. Amputees that fit in Mobility Grades 3 and 4 according to Otto Bocks MOBIS® Mobility System. Designed for amputees with a maximum body weight of 275 lbs (125 kg).

  • Technology is an amazing thing.

  • @statelesswarrior ..I've seen that you have posted this several times about the C-Leg and it's BS, I'm sure all brands have had issues like all things do...However this doesn't mean that all C-Legs are garbage because I've been using the same C-leg since 2004 with no issues whatsoever. I've sent it in for checkups under warranty with no problems. So speak for yourself, but don't generalize the entire company because you had a bad experience.

  • @statelesswarrior Your post is total garbage. I have been a C-Leg user since 2006. I have had no problems with it or service from Otto Bock.

  • i hope one day this leg will be available to more people.

  • which the value of the knee there in U.S.? I'm from Brazil

  • barkinstyle1: It can take a while to get used to. You have to get used to the fact you are not controling the knee directly. Unfortunately, this took me about 4 years and dropping out of college to get out of my cleg from the distress it caused me. I prefer knees I actually control. They are much much safer too.

  • I having a hard time with mine...im on my second prosthetist trying to figure out why Im it feels like the leg is fighting against me. It seams like it's easier for me to walk with a total knee than the c-leg. Why is that please HELP i have faith that this leg is one of the best one on the market!

  • ***WARNING*** TOTAL GARBAGE! OTTO BOCK DOES A LOUSY JOB SERVICING C-LEG'S UNDER WARRANTY. FED'S HAD THEM RECALLED BECAUSE OF DANGER ISSUES. . . PM ME FOR DETAILS. . . C-LEG IS ONE OF THE MOST TOUTED TOTAL GARBAGE PRODUCTS. . . I ADVISE ANOTHE HIGH TECH MANUFACTURER. . .
