One of the creatures in The Troll Hunter is missing an arm. When I first saw that, I knew I had to make this Empire tribute! What I've done is to take the scene from Empire Strikes Back, erase the existing characters, and then animate and re-composite the characters from Troll Hunter into the Empire footage. It's a pretty complex animation job, and it took me around three weeks of spare time to finish.

    that was cool. and people talking about the wrong arm being cut off, ya its obvious its the wrong one, but if you remember, the wrong hand was cut off in the real Star Wars movie too, so the maker/director wanted to stay true to the original. dont believe me go watch Star Wars.

    Thanks for finally understanding! I did the VFX on this sequence in the Troll Hunter, so of course I know which arm was cut off. Really weird people get so caught up in this!
