Spotting at NAS Oceana
Naval Air Station Oceana
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Thursday May 12, 20111
This video was shot over two different time periods - between 9:45 AM and 10:45 AM and 7:00 PM and 8:20 PM and features Runway 5L operations at NAS Oceana. I was hoping to get a lot more video but this was one of those days where my luck at Oceana just wasn't there (in fact, the time period between the two parts of the video here was spent at Langley AFB, and there was a decent amount of activity at NAS Oceana that I missed). Nevertheless, there are some gems in this video, which is full of Legacy Hornets...
If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

Nice video! Some of them belong to VFC-12 "Fighting Omars" wearing 'Flanker' style camouflage scheme (check 4:40-5:40) for their 'aggressor' duties.
