@DJK290 you just disproved your own point. if they let up and jump roughing and if not it could be a charge
if a player jumps its more likely a roughing call or a hit to the head

What league do you watch? If the player makes an attempt to let up and THEN jumps, it's not. But 99% of the time when a jump happens it is because the player has elected to jump instead of brace for the impact.
As a ref, whenever you see a jumping hit, you gotta be aware of whether or not the player let up. If not, it's charging.

Kids need to stop doing the stupid shit they see bitch ass players like Ovechkin doing and coaches need to ball up and teach kids how to hit safely and effectively from an earlier age.
