LONGER (a Dan Fogelberg cover)

Dan Fogelberg's Longer is one of my earliest memories of a song that I loved listening on the radio... Needless to say, I count Dan Fogelberg as one of my major musical influences, and Longer has always been my all-time favorite song. I wanted to record this song for a while, and realized how difficult it is to sing this song because of its simplicity and honesty, and this cover can never give justice to it at all. So pardon the flats here and there, but I wanted to cover it today (despite my unconditioned voice and sniffles), because it is a special day - I am celebrating my 11th year in America! :) It's my personal thanksgiving day.

Longer makes me think of God's love, which is eternal and longer than time and matter, the mountains and everything created. Nuff said. God is soo good.

VERY NICE!!!! But if I'm gonna nit pick, it's SLIGHTLY rushed, holding the vibrato a little longer at the end of certain notes, would make it sound perfect.....But don't mind me, I'm just a perfectionist, I still think

you sounded wonderful just the way it was!!!.... :)
