When Elizabeth has her first tonic-clonic seizure at age six, the doctors discover she has brain malformations present since birth. As the seizures worsen, her neurologist orders a weekend-long ambulatory EEG test to check her brain patterns. This video documents the steps to setting up and preparing for a lengthy EEG test in children.

  • She is beautiful! Thank you for posting this, it gives me an idea of what to expect when our son (10) goes for his sleep deprived EEG in a few weeks. Thankfully the MRI showed noting, so EEg is the next step. Thanks again xx

  • @dylandebbiesteph Good luck with the EEG. I hope everything goes well for you. It's a hard road.

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video. We have an ambulatory EEG tomorrow and we have watched the movie several times to prepare our 4 (almost 5!) year old for his. I have shared this with the people over at his hospital so that they may refer patients to it. It is so beautifully done! My son, so far, is not scared and ready! Thank you again and hugs to Elizabeth for being so brave! : )
