Season 2 is on. There will 3 more episodes. Martin Freeman is filming the Hobbit, but my understanding is that he will return as Watson. My understanding is we are looking at late Spring on PBS, as there has been delays in filming.

And it turns out that "Sherlock" is the greatest program ever produced. Benedict Cumberbatch is the best Holmes ever, and Martin Freeman puts all previous Watson's to shame.
