Great I love it! Where did you take the recording from? Did you do the translation by yourself? I understand in some part literal translation would not help :)

interesting...as much as I love English etymological orthography, I must say as a student of Norwegian I'm very glad this is not what eventually became standard

@sonoNEKO It's Ivar Aasen's first suggestion to a Norwegian orthography which he called 'Landsmaal' based on ethymology rather than phonetics. It was used by Magnus Brostrup Landstad in his collection of Norwegian Ballads "Norske Folkeviser" from 1852.
