The Green Belt Movement has planted over 40 million trees all over Africa. Fly over the tree planting sites and view the saplings in 3D in this tour, narrated by Nobel Peace Prize Winner Wangari Maathai. Learn more at http://www.google.com/cop16
She was a amazing woman which fights for good ideals and for the whole african continent. The world lost a important person in the fight against hunger and poverty of this continent. Hope a lot of people will continue the work she has started. In our hearts we stand beside you and support you. Best wishes to all african people from your friends in Germany
Wangari Maathai's Voice for Trees is an absolutely beautiful program and presentation. We are missing this type of information in larger medias. The Guardian an English paper is good place to start showing good being done instead of focusing only on suffering, wars, hunger, slavery and all the brutality and cruelty. Lets shine light where there are true revolution taking place.
What a pity...the trees have been left so lonely without their mama....and with the heartless and greedy loggers
