About 30 years ago, very occasionally, when I had nothing better to do, I'd catch a train to Lewes. I'd sit in the station buffet, have a cup of tea and dodgy British rail sandwich, and watch the trains come and go. I'd daydream about exotic, faraway places. Now, I live in one of those faraway places. And, whenever I'm at a station, I think about those afternoons in Lewes Station buffet.
