  • Meh. I HATE Metallica... but you've got to respect them for what they are and they are some of the best performers ever.

    I think it's fair to say that Flee Foxes aren't about their lyrics (like Conor Oberst or something) as much as they're about their sound.

    Lyrics are great and it's not that Fleet Foxes have terrible lyrics... but they're not the best. It's cool... if it was just about lyrics then you might as well just write a novel. Music is more.

    And Fleet Foxes makes AMAZING music.

  • They Sound like Seattle looks.......? That's crazy...I don't get tham at all. No particural musical inventivness. Nonsense lyrics. Good for singing rounds. Folksy. Are they better live?
