A refrigerator works by circulating a refrigerant through evaporator coils, so that heat is released and the refrigerant gets very cold. • Question: so does the air from the bottom of my fridge actually go inside my fridge or does the air just circulate around the inside of the fridge?

  • he has talked about the basic principle of *removing heat* it's just that he hasn't emphasized as much in the scientific sense. When the air passes through the condenser pipes at the bottom, its heat is removed. But once that heat is removed the cold air has to be pumped back into to circulate the internal space and keep the fridge cool.

  • What? I thought the basic principle of refrigeration is *removing heat* from an enclosed space, not "adding cold" air to the space...

  • good.. having one turned around to point to the compressor/fan etc would have been helpful in explaining

  • Excellent, thanks.

  • i need to remove Refrigerant from a fridge yet i dont want to pay someone else to do it. I'll gladly get a liscense through coarses or classes. i would want to remove it for myself so for when i scrap the fridge, i wont lose money.

  • cheers for the video, getting started making money is hard - u should try Heavy Dollars (google), they are so helpful, they got me started - the free kit gave me everything i needed to start making some nice money

  • thanks tim!

  • Tim nice video but the :10 sec to :25 , you say the refrigerator has a condensor motor, i believe you mean a compressor that circulates the refrigerant....

  • expert village sucks!!
