BULLYING AT UNIVERSITY OF NEWCASTLE

Bullying at the University of Newcastle, AUSTRALIA has destroyed many good people. The only way to stop it is to stand together and say "it is not OK". Most people are too scared to speak out, but there are some of us who no longer fear the bullies....no longer fear our supervisors, our only fear is that we stop speaking out staff and students at the University of Newcastle will have to continue working in a toxic environment, where bullies are protected and rewarded and honest ethical people are eliminated.

The University of Newcastle , Australia, has blocked this video from being available in Australia? Why? It is legal in every other country. So much for freedom of speech? What else does the University block from the public.....

Sorry, but this doesn't reflect my experience at UoN, and I'm pretty confident that I don't conduct myself like a bully either. What I will say is, making a YouTube video featuring a colleague's face with seemingly defamatory motives and then repeatedly emailing links to it to other colleagues within the university could easily be interpreted as bullying behaviour. Another approach might be more appropriate, don't you think?

Sounds like you've been trying pretty hard to get out. Half your luck. If its so great though why not stay? Surely if you are so good the University will recognise your ability and develop/reward you? Or did you get passed over by someone's friend?

Yeah, the nepotism and cronyism is fast destroying the UoN. The shocking problem is that in a place like this, it's the honest, hardworking and quality people who are bullied, set upon and the mediocrity just triumphs. It's horrifying to see these thugs educating our young. Most good people have left because they can't take it any longer or have been forced out. Very sad and they wonder why students are turning away from this place in droves.

Why stop at just the bullying? What about the widespread nepotism and cronyism that, despite all the talk about excellence, renders the institution barely mediocre?
