so cool. I saw them at the Rutgers student center/pub in Oct '83 - it's still my favorite concert of all time. Let's Active opened for them. tremendous show.

I saw REM at the GWU Smith Center in 1985, and this set is pretty close to the set that they played at that show. Thank you for posting this -- especially for the Television cover (See No Evil). At the time I saw them, I had no idea who Television was -- and no idea who Wire was either, except they later covered them too (Strange). Anyway, it was a great concert, and one that no one recorded, so this is a very close.
