There's a lot of glassmaking in this piece. Whichever angle you look at this from, there's something happening. It has a ribbed base, vibrant colour, a swirled pattern, and a pulled and patterned rim. The rim has been snipped with glass shears to produce the design. It reminds me of brightly coloured tropical shrimps I've seen. We've seen a lot of bowls similar to this, though never one with this much put into it. - mostly plain colours and without the curled arms. We believe they are from the 1960s, from one of the major firms which was exporting their product around the world.

Width: 26cm (10.5 inches)
Height: 11.5cm
Weight: 1.4kg
Condition: Light wear to the base, a couple of sharp ends between the "petals" (one possibly with a shallow fleck - hard to say if it's from manufacture or later), four burst bubbles/marks from manufacture underneath, a couple of unintended bubbles (largest 1mm x 3mm), one "point" slightly uneven (from manufacture)
