Double amputee BTK & Vietnam Veteran Brian Willson rides his hand-cycle 900 miles from Eugene, OR to Seattle, WA and back to Arcata, CA to demonstrate sustainable travel. He cycled to Seattle to give presentations on sustainability at the 2006 Veterans For Peace Conference at University of Seattle. I followed with my biodiesel westfalia as his SAG (safety, activities & gear) wagon. He gave numerous speeches along the way one of which was at the Friends Meeting Hall in Salem, Oregon, which is the sound track to this video. The visuals are a montage of scenes from the ride. He was accompanied by a group of veterans from wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam.
