Craig Russell's Mae West was astonishing to see live. He had once lived with Miss West, acting as her Boy Friday/personal secretary. From the 1977 movie Outrageous! xoxo

  • He's got the voice down!

Pretty good -- ALMOST as good as the original!

  • The funny thing about this is that the late Craig Russell was imitating a woman--Mae West-- who was imitating a drag queen! LOL. Mae West after learned how to act with all of her exaggerated feminine gestures from her drag queen friends.

  • My name is Craig Russell, Im a boy for God's sake!

  • God, I used to love him in person. He played a small club in Studio City in the seventies and I saw him every night. He was so hilarious and inventive, you never knew who he would do on a moment's notice. In the middle of Carol Channing he would suddenly turn his wig around and go into a flawless Dinah Shore. What a great, comic talent he was. RIP Craig.

  • I can't believe that all those guys knew that much about may west to appreciate this act.

  • He was spot-on as Mae.

  • I love his Mae West impersonation, right on the money!!!!!
