@xilitol Well I understand. But NCsoft paid the devs to creat the game and devs was in contact of the company. Any idea that they came up with in the meeting belong to the company. That's why I said gaming is also business because it is under the contact. NCsoft paid, the devs developped the game. Example, a scientist wants to create a perfect gene for human, but the project was cancelled. But he then stole stuff from the lab and left to contiune. This is where "crazy scientists" from.
@Connen1 hold on bro, its NCsoft cancelled L3 project and then the devs left because their years of hardwork was dumped by the management. Think about it this way that you take years to complete a project just to have it cancelled by your boss. Whose fault I don't care, but tera is an pretty awesome unique game and I really want to play it.
@xilitol You do know that Bluehole is in the wrong here in the first place. What NCsoft did is quite make sense to me. Gaming is also business. NCsoft had the right to sue. L3 got cancelled because 48 out of 100+ the devs left the company while took codes, softwares. etc. Think about those who was waiting for L3 project as well. NCsoft lost millions cuz of the incident. The reason they are suing now because Tera just annouced the release date, the timing of lawsuit with this. not greed.
@chostielies highly unlikely because ncsoft sued bluehole studio recently claiming they stole Lineage 3 code, software and artwork to launch tera. ncsoft plan to thwart tera NA launch by all means, if they are successful they are gonna prevent tera EU launch as well. so chances are you will never see tera launching outside korea unless greedy ncsoft is gone.
