-Kills P. Acnes Bacteria by delivering Oxygen to the pore
-Also has the ability to remove dead skin cells blocking pores

Salicylic Acid:
-Promotes skin cell turnover
-Increases shedding of the Epidermis layer

i bought clearasil vanishing acne treatment,and it has 10%benzoyl peroxide, i put it at night after cleansing moisterizing,and using oil free acne wash,then i waited like 10 min.and used the benzoyl peroxide,in the morning i had part of my face red like a rash.what did i do wrong?was i only supposed to use a moisterizer,or just put a little benzoyl peroxide?

That percent is way too high for your face if you are just beginning to use it. Try to use a lower amount.

Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Gel Cleanser works really good.

I have had acne since 8th grade. It's not severe acne but it's a pain in the padded ass when you've had it for so long. I been using burt's bees now for about a month and it's been working great. Idk. I just thought I shouldn't keep it to myself. It's worth a try I think.

Could I use both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide at the same time? By this I mean rubbing the salicylic acid on, waiting for it to dry, then using the benzoyl peroxide.

BP is the best product for acne. It should be used alot on actuall pimples and then lightly on clear skin just to protect it. Your skin may get a little dry, but if you have alot of acne, it is worth it.

Ok well, I have the clean & clear continuous acne cleanser & it's 10% benzoyl peroxide.

At first when I used it my acne was less, but the few remaining acne were more red & irritated looking. But I still kept using it, & about a week later all my acne was gone.

Is this normal?
