I'm also a C6. She is right about going home. When I left the hospital and moved into a new apt. because my old one wasn't accessible it was just me and my guide dog. It was so different because I had to do everything on my own. As much as I hated the hospital I kind of wanted to go back the first night because of the access and help there. Of course this feeling didn't last long!
