We know to love our enemies, and we know who our neighbor is, but how do we know who our enemies are?

Some enemies are very obvious. satan and demons are enemies this is obvious. Now the bible says not to keep company with a brother who practices evil like being sexually immoral or a drunkard. I believe a person is either for Jesus or against Jesus. Anyone who is against Jesus is our enemy. Even someone who calls themselves a brother and practices evil is our enemy.

Jesus came to divide.

Have you ever read the Book of Psalms?

King David sure is praying to God for his enemies. King David is praying for the wrath of God to fall upon them. King David even got impatient because he did not see God's wrath on them yet.

Amen, I have an ex-roomate I have to treat like this. I'll help him out whenever he needs me, but if he calls me or texts me wanting to hang out and be best buds, I have to tell him no.

I have a question, if a friend of mine is an alcoholic who has good years and bad years, am I supposed to stay away from them completely? I have always been sympathetic to people who have addictions, but they have destroyed my joy way too many times.

@RobertMOdell the point about the sword was we have the right to portect ourseleves, Jesus told them to go buy one if you did'nt have one for He knew we would have hard times ahead, plus this is why a Christian can be in the army and kill people and still know that they were doing what the Bible says about war.
