How not to land a glider. Don't try turning into the wind when you have lost all your lift in the turbulence behind the edge of the hill. There is a good chance you will clip the ground with a wing tip. Launched at Coombe Hole near White Hill, Kingsclere.
Turning with the wind on the tail makes lost a lot of altitude. Always make a rapid turning in this condition and return with wind on the nose!

Yes, I agree and thanks for your comment. I should have given myself much more height so that I had more time to turn, or as you say, make the turn more quickly. Since this crash my flying has got better and I have made a stronger aircraft out of a plastic sign (see my Cheap Correx RC Delta Wing) video).
