This video is a response to MarkPMus's discussion about the 1992 remaster of ABBA Oro. I mistakenly refer to it as the 1994 version at 0.23, I meant to say 1992. I have tried to make it a it more interesting by adding some background music from the album.
Hello: I know they could have joined all 15 songs on one "oro" cd but they were trying to go even with the "gold" and "more gold" compilations. Ring ring in spanish wasn't discovered by 1992 when "oro " was issued Check my "oro" and "mas oro" + "gracias por la musica" cd's in my channel Thepipercollection
Sounds like the Spanish record company (was it Polydor?) wanted to release 2 albums when 1 would have done the job! They could have put all the Spanish tracks on 1 CD, and then released the regular Gold and More ABBA Gold compilations in those territories.
and take a good look at "andante, andante" writtten on the back of cd case. It says "andate", which means "go away" in Spanish!!! hohohoh!
