This is a video showing the first four runs ever with this tractor. If you are interested in how this tractor was built please see the photo album: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2060562&id=1500630674&l=ce22e141c6

This Video footage and sled cam footage is brought to you by H&J Pulling Productions. If you would like to order the entire event for the Columbus, OH pull please call Midwest Super Cub. The fully edited DVD costs $40

As stated in the video, I am taking two batteries off :( This will drop me down to 120 Volts for the next event. I am also going to re-gear the transmission, in the hopes of utilizing more of the electric motors torque.
Tractor Stats:
144v DC (by way of 12 Optima Red Tops hooked in series, soon to be 10 batteries)
NetGain Microprocessor Motor Controller.
Direct drive to the Topshaft of a Cub transmission.
9.1" ADC Series Wound Brushed Motor
Vehicle Weight: 960lbs, soon to be 890ish

  • That is really cool! Awesome that you got an electric puller to hang with the engine guys. Good job!!

  • what mount did you use whith the go pro slead cam

  • That's pretty cool. :)

  • I pull with Commonwealth Pullers in Ky.You may some of our bunch.Great job on the electric. That thing pulls.

  • @richardcatdaddy I worked on the couplers and stuff intermittently, but I threw the frame together and wired everything in about 2 weeks, right before Columbus. It went really quite smooth for being the first one. I'm going to do a new battery pack for next year. More voltage. Should help the theoretical HP. Won't make any more torque tho.

  • Jullian, how long did it takw to put it togather?

  • amazing

  • Dude you Rock!!! Nice Job, way to put eletric Tractors on the map. I have an Eletrac and I love it. Great video

  • Great job!

  • @steelhorse1979 I had the fire suit on from pulling the other tractors. Didn't feel like taking it off. I could care less what it sounds like, just as long as it has the power!
