I've also trained with Shery and Chris and met other inspiring peers....this message needs to get into the hospital system. My experience of the psychiatric wards at NDDH Barnstaple, Devon England affirms that ALL Peers deserve to have their own voice and to hear from the psychiatric staff, messages of hope and recovery rather than being given labels and dosed with dangerous medications promoted as the only possible solution to complex issues of distress.
