I was born & raised in the South and I have always made banana pudding from scratch. I can't imagine it any other way. Thanks for the vid. It's NOT true banana pudding unless it's made from scratch.

This guy knows what he is talking about and understands cooking. Mom owned two restaurants before I was born and was a great cook. I had no idea she was a great cook until I was an adult. There are very few great cooks. This guy knows the magic commonsense that escapes others... a little salt to bring out the flavor; if you have small yolks, add another one; keep stirring at the end; perfect thickness; quick browning, don't go watch TV... stand there; most of all, pudding mix = dog food.
