the index finger gesture is indicative of 1 or I (in roman numerals). the 2nd gesture represents 'o.k.' , so the person is telling themselves "I'm o.k." over and over until the pressure gets too much and they just explode into 176 pieces, so the theme of the animation is, an inadequate coping mechanism

It's an instructional video for the Amboy, NJ street gang, #1 Cockerels. It's used to teach initiates the super secret stacking of #1 Cockerels.

Unfortunately, due to its incredibly secretive nature, the sign requires that the user's hands explode after signaling. This may be one reason why #1 Cockerels have never really been a very succesful or wide-spread gang outside Amboy.
