You sound great, man. I have that same mandolin. Before you changed the pick-up, did you have an issue with the A-string being louder than all the rest? If so, did it help the problem, and what kind of pick-up did you put in it?

@imaginator09 To be honest, I am not sure. I am so sensitive to single coil hum that I did not hear much else. I can tell you that the new pick-up (Dimarzio Pro-Track) has no string to string balance issues. It is a sweet rig! I also repositioned the volume and tone controls when I had a new pickguard made and that was a nice upgrade! Good luck, it is a sweet mando just as they come!

Nice playing man! I really loved this video, and I have wanted an electric mandolin for a while now. But, I was wondering, what kind of amp does the km-300e use? Can I use a guitar amp, because I have a nice guitar amp and was wondering if that would not only work but sound good for this mandolin. If you know, thanks, and also speaking of music happy birthday to John Lennon. :D

Thanks, I appreciate it. Any guitar amp should work fine. Some will sound better than others. I generally like 10" speakers for mandolin but that is just preference. I roll the tone back quite a bit and the volume back a ways. Just experiment, you'll find a good setting. Let me know when you post your vid!! :)
