Those birds look very healthy and very tamed. From a Homer fancier like myself I've got to say that was a pleasure.

We do sell some pigeons, but we do not keep a lot of pigeons. I only breed just enough to race. Check out the race from last weekend. We only sent 20 babies to the race. E-mail me at valente3747@rogers.com for the results.

Do you use widowhood? The pigeons fly back fast to get to their babies. Widowhood is the name of this cruel training technique that some trainers use. I am not accusing you, though. The use of widowhood is usually begun by first allowing the racer to raise a baby in their nest box. After the baby is weaned the hen is removed and often the nestbox is closed off, from then on the only time these birds are allowed to see their mate or enter the nest box is upon returning from training or a race.
