He is indeed a true gentleman, I too snuck backstage to meet him between sets in Montreal many years ago at Club Soda. He was just relaxing with his wife and saw me approaching the door. Expecting to be shooed away, he invited me in to sit and chat with him for while. A very humble and gracious man for sure.

Great singer! I saw him in concert in Marquette Michigan, front row seats! After ward I sneeked back stage he allowed me to have a photo taken w/ him! John Hammond is a very NICE & HUMBLE individual!
