  • I am confused about the battery circuit with individual chargers. Is there somewhere that has a wiring diagram?

  • @lespaul49

This car features one battery charger for each battery. Each charger has its positive and negative lead permanently bolted onto the positive and negative posts of one battery.

The only problem with this setup is that there are so many batteries, that not all the battery chargers can run at the same time without blowing a 15 amp circuit. So, the chargers are plugged into several different power strips. Only one group of chargers is run at a time.

  • Yep. 100% battery-powered electric vehicle

  • @BenjaminNelson Sorry to ask (possibly more than once), will you release your videos in a complete set, say on DVD. This could be useful in teaching a level 3 engineering class for their projects. (level 3 is pre university here in the UK).

  • @mik99D

All of my DVDs about the Electric Geo Metro conversion are included on the ROM disc of the BUILD YOUR OWN ELECTRIC CAR DVD I have for sale at 300MPG.org

If there is interest, I could see about compiling all the AC Dodge Neon video together into a disc for sale as well.

  • @webworkhere but with that setup wouldn't the amount of power generated be less than or equal to the amount of power used to account for the air resistance and friction caused by the turbines?

  • Can u tell me were can to buy the same charger

  • @BenjaminNelson I got an ideal bro, stick a couple three phase wind turbins in the front of your car if it's front wheel drive then create a mini sub station in your trunk with a lightening arrestor :D

  • $700 just for the chargers???????? A8nd you still only haul 2 people??????

  • @3089280288 Any kind of batteries will do the job if properly connected (series to increase total voltage, parallel to get current out of the pack) but usually smaller batteries cost much more and are so many in the pack that you will die of old age before you get every one connected (has been done, with thousend of 123 cells, to power an electric dragster...search youtube for the vids). It's not worth the hassle unless you have a pallet of free Lithium cellphone batteries that you can't sell
