It was the greatest comeback in the history of European finals. Liverpool, trailing 3-0 at half-time to the mighty AC Milan somehow fought back to win the 2005 Champions League Final.

    His intro did three things 1.snuffed out Kaka, 2.more control of midfield possession. 3.allowed Gerrard to bomb forward at will.

  • Didi was like Rommel he closed our ranks and was a rock in the centre of midfield which allowed gerrard more forward opportunities.,
