Sounds great! Never heard a cover of Tangerine Dream's version, till now. The first time that I heard this song was on Rainbow's :Bent Out of Shape" album. They call it "Snowman". Then, I found out it was from the cartoon "The Snowman", which came out a couple of years before Rainbow's record. I did not discover this song, in "The Keep", until several years ago. I think it great to listen to all 3 of these versions of the same song, just to enjoy the different interpretations. hits "replay"
Whoops, I forgot to say how great your cover version of the tune is. Very good!
In case you didn't know, TD themselves covered the tune "Walking in the Air" by Howard Blake, in their choice for The Keep's end tune. The original version was composed for the cartoon The Snowman. You can find it on YouTube at watch?v=ubeVUnGQOIk and its still in print on CD.
I've searched high and low for this. Never knowing the true title, I searched for the Snowman by Tangerine Dream. Now that I know the correct title and words, it gives me, even, more feeling of the ethereal, than before. Thank you. Love&Light
Great cover version.Such a damn shame TD never released the full official soundtrack.I recently converted a VHS copy of The Keep to DVD.It's frustrating that the film hasn't been released yet.
I have always loved that piece from the movie The Keep, and was gutted to learn that it was never released officially. Great job covering it! You certainly have talent. I downloaded it and now I have it in the car to listen to :-). Might I make a suggestion? Perhaps sometime in the future you'd consider making another cover of that piece as close to the original as possible, to fill that huge void Tangerine Dream left? :-) I definitely pay some money for that! Heck I'd hire you to do it!

The full Tangerine Dream version, which runs 7 minutes and 31 seconds, is on YouTube at watch?v=zoHldOn-i9E
Otherwise, search on the title Keep alternate end and on user pewburrito
This version of the song is taken from the version of The Keep shown on broadcast TV in the late 1990s.
