rather weak jazz pianist, yet enough to impress old, clumsy elton

I really prefer Jubilant Sykes singing the same song!

She never ceases t o amaze me with her incredible versatility and imaginative talent...Such a great jazz musician!!

It would take a strange jazz aficionado not to know that Krall is the real thing, original and respectful of all she's learned, a consiummate pianist and sexy seinger.

Uuhh, Ma'am, you are excellent.... that's exactly what I love "to do" to (existing) songs. Jazz is to me always a way "of feeling something" a not a genre, style or type of music....

I watched Diana play live up close in a pub called The Senator in eastern Toronto in June 1996 to a sold out audience that packed the place of maybe 150 seats. She has only gotten better- she is one of the true great jazz performers today. I hope that younger people will discover this moment of her masterful ability. She is a great example and inspiration to many of us who admire great jazz and popular music today, and for that we are thankful for her making our world so much more to live for.

Her voice is a bit abrasive in my opinion, and her playing is mediocre. Its good, but its just not my cup of tea. All things considered, im just happy to see that jazz is still getting popular exposure.
Love it.... Jazz is about taking risks, trying things... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it keeps it fresh and interesting. I commend her for trying to play around with the song rather than a rehearsed boring version that everyone's heard a thousand times..
