  • we have our bull that we use training the young horses, he is a pure bred but we raised him from baby, he still loves to run with the horses ,but never hits them because he learned to play instead of fighting. but in the real bullfight you have to use fresh bulls that were never touched before and raised by many portuguese families in california, until the age of 4 to5 years old when they fought in the arenas for only 1 night .they live in complete freedom for 5 years of their life.thank you

  • Wow, cool stuff! I love this breeding program... the epitome of typey athletes. I wonder how they get the bull to chase the horse with the "spears" being velcro?

  • The bulls are pure bred fighting bulls, descendent from the ancient auroque that roamed wild in the iberian peninsula along side with the native horse of portugal the sorraia, the auroque was the natural source of food for celtiberians, only possible to hunt from the back of a horse due to their agressive but noble behavior, bloodless bullfighting just comes to prove ,that horse ,man and bull, once were meant to be in this little corner of the world ... Thank you for the coment

  • We have one training bull here, but maybe someday we will breed some! We go to other ranches who raise wild bulls, practicing in their arenas also. Lots of fun! Thank you for your kind words.
