how reliable is this DISTRONIC PLUS (with PRE-SAFE Brake) system though?? What if it fails if you keep driving like this on the highway?? Will Mercedes be liable with this?

amazing technology. Personally i'd dark tint the windows so i could jerk off to pr0n while driving rather than work on a blackberry but to each his own.

So everytime the car comes to a stop you have to hit resume? I'm debating If i should get the MB e-class coupe and this is a pricey option.

@Maqqx You are right my friend, it is not offered in the SLK. I forgot about that one. And by the way, DISTRONIC will also become available in the facelifted C-class that is coming soon (2011). Good luck!
