at Weslake Stadium, State 4A Preliminaries, Austin, TX, Nov 1987. I like the music from this show. The one thing I remember about that day was that it was bone-chilling cold. I was amazed the bands did so well.

I was a freshman in this band and I remember it being miserably cold. This was Mr. Klaerner's first year as GP Director. If you look closely at the Drum Major salute you can see the guy has his head wrapped in a bandage. I can't remember his name (Trey??) but somehow the roof hatch on the bus fell and busted his head open. To his credit he was stitched up and carried on his duty!
