  • Does Andy Have His Signature Model Of His Ibanez ?? // : )

  • @4444jcm Hi, Andy's Ibanez guitars come with the same DiMarzio pickups that are in this video.

    Hope that helps,

    Larry DiMarzio

  • i always wondered if the artists use just regular factory pickups or do they get handmade pickups? I mean is there a difference between for example the pickups in petruccis or timmons own guitar and the ones i buy for 80 bucks in a random shop?

  • @MajkeTiTvoje Hi, All the pickups are the same, we installed a pair of new (from the box) pickups just before this show.

    Hope that helps,

    Larry DiMarzio

  • I wonder what the video "Jeff beck on Andy Timmons" would be like?

  • @bootzilla82

A Tone Zone S is not a good choice for the neck position unless you want a very thick tone. The Cruiser that Andy uses is much brighter. A Chopper should be better. The other choices should work with no problems.

  • Superb!!!!!!!

  • Hi, Mr. DiMarzio!

My name is Renato Benon and I'm from Brazil.

I'd like to know if you can tell me what combination of pots (volume and tone are 500k?) are used in Andy Timmons' guitar.

I have a Fender American Deluxe Strat, american alder body and maple neck, and I put the Cruiser pickup in neck and middle. It look perfect! I read what you wrote earlier and I'll buy a Tone Zone S for the bridge position.

But I want to let my guitar with the same configuration of AT!

    Please answer me!

    Thanks!

  • Great guitar!! the 24 frets sure are his cup of tea. Not often do you find someone who can actually make those extra 2 frets musical, but he knows how to find feeling in those two high notes. Also the Dimarzios are soundin awesome!

  • Timmons, one of the largest footprints, feeling and tone. The guy is impressive!

  • I sincerely don't like shredders, ibanezs, mesa boogies or dimarzios. But this guy... goddamn!

  • Wow his tone in this video is unbelievable! Even better than his gigs! Wow!
