With the smartkey anywhere in the vehicle and your foot on the brake, it's just a press of the Start button to get the engine going.

And just an FYI - it is the same start up for any 2011 Range Rover, just clarifying the Autobiography because of the Supercharged text in the tach and the Autobiography-only wood trim - Lined Oak Anthracite.

  • I though that all 2011 RR had the "jaguar gear knob?

  • @Martinalm91 Only the diesel models, all gas/petrol models still have the 6-speed with the standard gear shift.

  • wow thats crazy, so as the needle goes up the numbers it gets close to light up i see?

  • @adnamarie Yes, they describe that feature as:

"The TFT-LCD virtual instrument panel's 'torchlight' setting highlights only the essential information on the speedometer and odometer."

  • is the rev counter and speedo all digital?

  • @cameronj11331 Yes, it's one large flat LCD screen that display the "gauges"

  • how much is it

  • @roverhaul A nice touch of detail! Glad to see they haven't gone cheap.

  • @mikeMBW Hi - the initial display is the one you see in the first few seconds of the video, sort of a cloudy horizon - so it's either a completely off black screen, the horizon graphic or the gauges.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Does the instrument display (if that's the correct term) have some kind of picture when the ignition is off?
