@welderman27 you have to call the dealer they will tell you over the phone I talked to them about a 30 to fourty e tec.

they are oil injected and fuel injected. the fuel injection system making like 8 million calculations per second to make sure each cylinder is getting just the right amount of fuel. that way no unburned fuel gets put in the mix and you get the best of every drop of fuel. pretty advanced shit i'd say.

just an FYI. theres nothing to really go wrong with these. they are supposed to be serviced every 3 years and thats it. no oil changes and such so all you have to do is top off the oil and gas tank and it'll keep going

I would rather get new because I don't want any problems with it. If i get it from the dealer and have a problem with it I'm sure it will get resolved faster and all. I was really kinda wanting maybe a 30-40 e-tec but can't find any priceing online for them

price depends on which e-tec you get. they have all kinds ranging from 40horse to 300 horse. so it depends on what kind of boat you have? also i recomend checking e-bay or craigslist for an e-tec. you can get a slightly used one for a lot less then new.
