  • Best to use a bull float on a slab pour with wire mesh - so that the wire mesh does not get pushed down from the finisher walking on it. Screed machine is best used on a slab pour that has a rebar mat supported by rebar chairs.

  • Why no expansion material along the wall?

Wire get pushed back down when the screed man walks on it to place his machine.

  • its a basement floor, i've never seen expansion used on one.

  • that looks like a vibra strike......we have a first generation vibra strike..its the same as the one their using here except that the rotating weight that creates the vibration is exposed... not good when you stick a rake in it....must be 15 years old and still running strong....so old she uses mixed gas...lol
