  • Do you sell your products in Europe too?

  • @ulesal All CKAS Mechatronics equipment is sold worldwide from the head office in Melbourne, Australia. Please contact CKAS for pricing and more information.

  • Hello abigobel,

Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately the game developers on PS3 and other consoles do not give us a way to extract the real acceleration information from the games to create a real simulation like this one. At this stage, it will be on PC only...

The platform is USB plug and play, and supports ALL rFactor mods as plug and play. All equipment purchases are made through CKAS Mechatronics in Australia (more info on CKAS website)

  • Many thanks for the reply. Is that the standard sound pack, or did you download a seperate soundpack mod for it? Did you have to do a lot of set up tweaking with the handlind? it looks very twitchy indeed.

  • Standard Sound files (as included with F1 1988) and no tuning changes. Directly out of the box!

  • Hi CKAS1. very impressive indeed. I am building something like this at present, with a an ex f3000 Lola cokpit. You say this is Rfactor, the first car you are driving looks like a late 90's maclaren Mp4. could you tell me what mod this is for Rfactor? much better than than the later stuff. its brilliant!

  • The vehicle is the legendary MP4 and is availbale in rFactor mod F1 1988 by Carrera - As acknowledged in the video

  • missing 3d glasses?

  • Crashing at high speeds in this simulator can be quite painful if the force settings are high. Most people get shaken up quite badly after a major accident, and usually need a rest. The worst part is, that when you get into a major accident, you don't know when the violence of the crash and tumbling of the car will end - and this feeling can be a little scary. If the force settings are low, then it's more subtle and not really a major issue at all.

This machine is not a toy...

  • @ckas1 very impressive. fantastic mod. have you guys thought about introducing a curved screen, and corecting the projector distortion with software? Sol 7 is apparently very good for that.
