@z4k4r145 rock music like this is amazing it all depends on what people look at when they say 2000-2010 if we're talkin pop it blows if you look at this kind of music it's amazing if you look at the underground rap it's amazing but the "frontrunners" in the music industry aren't very reflective of what music should be you just gotta dig deeper cause people in "mainstream" don't even listen to the words they jus wanna shake their ass to whatever they can. There are plenty of ingenious lyricists

that fact simply shows me, that people like to get entertained more and more on a lower level. and in my opinion that level of entertainment decreased every passing decade (in general). i bet nobody will say in the future "yeah look, the period 2000 - 2010 was THE golden age of music". still there are enough great artists.
